Soft archive

In this series, I take samples of fabric from used sewing, crafting, and home decor magazines and intuitively combine them into new forms. I find this process-based method of creation satisfying because in discovering new and unexpected relationships between colours, patterns, and textures, I am always surprised by the result. In the process of making each composition, I’ve accumulated an archive of samples that continues to grow and serve as my source material.
